Included for all our guests, is full use of our kayaks, canoes and paddle boards that you can launch right from our waterfront property. You can go out and explore the banks of the Peconic Bay, all while enjoying mother nature at her best.

Boat Rental

Lighthouse Marina is right around the corner from us, offering boat and pontoon rentals for the day, week and month.Along with their boats, you can also rent tubes and water skies.
Unsure about operating a boat, but still want to explore the Great Peconic Bay? Have no fear, they have Captains to guide your vessel too.
So relax and enjoy your time out on the water.

South James Port Beach is a white Soft Sandy Beach with a Very Gradual Bottom and No Big Waves

South Jamesport Beach

Our guests receive complimentary beach passes to 5 local area beaches. One of them is South Jamesport Beach which is 6 minutes away from us. The beach is nice white sand, long gradual bottom and calm waters, great for young children. There is a snack bar, playground for your kids, bathrooms and outdoor showers to clean off. There is also an in-season lifeguard on staff as well.

Wine Tour and Tasting

Experience a guided winery tour of the North Fork of Long Island’s finest wineries. Jo-Ann Perry has worked more than 20 years in the Long Island Wine industry, offering her visitors a behind the scenes opportunity. Tours include visits to 4 unique wineries. Jo-Ann says, “By joining my tour, you will have the opportunity to visit the North Fork’s naturally beautiful vineyards, sample world class wines produced here and spend time with someone who knows and loves the area.”

Indulge yourself into the history of Long Island as the way things were done at the Hallockville Museum Farm

Hallockville Museum Farm

Hallockville Museum Farm is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to re-connecting the community to their shared agricultural heritage. For a short 10 minute ride they invite you to visit for a museum tour, attend an educational class or workshop, bring your friends and family to the special events, fairs and festivals throughout the year!

East End Seaport Museum

The Maritime Museum is located in Greenport at the foot of 3rd Street, in the former railroad station, adjacent to the Shelter Island North Ferry Dock. It’s only 30 minutes away from us.
Inside, the museum boasts an array of exhibits on the maritime heritage of the area, including displays on the Greenport menhaden fishing industry, the oyster industry, lighthouse lenses, a model ship of the USS Ohio, and more.

Mitchell Park Greenport

The antique carousel is the focal point of Mitchell Park. Built in 1920 by the Herschell-Spillman Company, it was donated to the village by the Northrop-Grumman Corporation in 1995.
Greenport Village is rich in history and was recently named one of the prettiest towns in the USA. Enjoy our fine dining, great shopping, and historic charm.

Lavender by the Bay

Lavender by the Bay is a fun and picturesque place to go visit while staying here. They have 17 acres of farmland on the North Fork with twenty different varieties of lavender across the fields, yielding over 50,000 plants for cultivation. They have seasonal fresh cut bunches, dried lavender, lavender plants, lavender sachets, honey from our own beehives and other crafts at the farm during the growing season. It’s definitely a place to see and it’s just a short trip by car, further east of us.

Black Rock Fishing Charters

Black Rock Sport Fishing Charters is perfectly located in Orient Point, NY on the East End of Long Island’s North Fork, a secret fishing haven previously known only to the locals. Orient Point fishing is well protected within minutes access to the bay, Long Island Sound, or ocean. Only 1 mile from the famous Plum Gut, where people come from hundreds of miles for its big Striped Bass fishing, Bluefish, Black Fish, and other sport fish. They are only 39 minutes away.

Cherry Creek Golf Links

Golf Enthusiast? We have a great 18 hole golf coarse for you, only 13 minutes away from us. The coarse is a par 73 which has beautiful elevated tees and long generous lush fairways.
Their famous 18th hole is a 644-yard par 6, which is a challenging hole for an exciting finish.



Brew Crew Cycles

We will visit 3 breweries in downtown Riverhead while rocking out to great tunes along the way. Book individually or as a small group and be paired with other individuals for an exciting tour of the neighborhood!

aMano

Opened in June of 2008, by partners Adam Lovett and Tom Schaudel, aMano brings a hint of the Tuscan countryside to Mattituck. Wood oven fired pizza and pastas star on the menu along with local ingredients from the nearby farms and bay. The Italian inspired appetizers and entrees are paired with wines from both Long Island and Italy to showcase both Old and New World Flavor.

Touch of Venice Restaurant

A Touch of Venice Restaurant has served quality cuisine in generous portions at its Mattituck location since it opened in 1988. Menu selections range from Italian cuisine to the restaurant’s own inspirations and are “made from the finest ingredients, fusing the produce of local farms and wineries with imported specialties from Italy,” said head chef and co-owner Brian Pennacchia.

Digger's Pub

Digger O’ Dells was relaunched in 2005 by husband and wife team, Stephen & Chéri Wirth as Digger’s Ales N’ Eats. Their main focus was to offer their guests a lively atmosphere, tasty food and an extensive selection of beer, spirits and wine, all served by a friendly staff.

Porto Bello

Porto Bello is an upscale, Northern Italian style restaurant located in Stirling Harbor in the heart of the North Fork of Long Island’s booming wine country. The owner, Diana DiVello, partnered with her mother Francesca DiVello for 17 years dating back to the early 90's and is now at the helm, guiding Porto Bello’s second generation.

Modern Snack Bar

Since 1950, the Modern Snack Bar has been a North Fork landmark for great home cooking. Don’t let our name fool you. We still have great burgers and sandwiches. Today, our menu includes such East End favorites as Roast L.I. Duck, Fresh Flounder, and our famous Lobster Salad. Paumanok is a beautiful setting to enjoy a glass of wine with a cheese or charcuterie platter (weather permitting) on our outdoor deck overlooking the vineyards.  
Paumanok also offers a selection of local and regional cheeses and charcuterie platters as well as fresh, local oysters on Saturdays during the summer months. These platters are offered for consumption indoors or outdoors. 

Palmer Vineyards

Relax on our quiet porch with a flight during the week or enjoy a full glass on the weekends while the bands play and our friendly food trucks serve lunch! Friday evenings at Palmer continue with a campfire and backyard games and local musicians.

Laurel Lake Vineyards

Laurel Lake Winery is housed within the elegant, colonial-style building with a tasting room highlighted by an antique, landmark bar, stained windows, and a gift shop with varied and unique items. The expansive two story deck overlooking the vineyard provides an opportunity for guest to enjoy a glass of wine or a picnic. Laurel Lake regularly schedules live music, tours and specials events for the whole family. It is such a wonderful place, that every year many couples choose to celebrate their wedding with us.

Harbes Vineyard

Our vineyard lies to north of our Wine Barn in Mattituck on a southern facing stony hillside with the terroir mimicking the climate and geology of the Bordeaux region. Our vineyard thrives in our maritime climate and under the careful attention of expert vineyard manager and winemaker, Ed Harbes. We invite you to enjoy the award winning fruits of our labor.
