You can book a charter fishing boat with a party of men and women to fish in the open waters of the Atlantic Ocean. You can capture and let go, or have the fish to eat from the barbecue at your cottage when you return. If your game is for smaller fish, bring your reel with you down to our multiple docks to fish from. There is also a local captain with his own boat for hire who can take you out on the bay of the Peconic.
Pour some wine to savor while feeling relaxed in one of our multiple hammocks is excellent for the soul. For outdoor eats we have barbecues, bench tables and if it's too sunny, there are umbrellas to prop over the tables. To enjoy the gentle breeze coming from the water, you can grab yourself an easy chair or lounge chair and park it on the lush green grass.
Are you looking for a place that has extended stay, over the normal short stay? Well if you like the waterfront premises of cozy cottages to stay in and a tranquil experience, you've found it. We have a couple renters that go up and down the eastern coastline of the United States, staying here during the spring and summer months. When the winter arrives here in New York, they then head southbound for the warmer states. They have found it is cost effective staying at our place and their southern rental or residence. Yet another activity to do, which you can launch from our property, is Paddle Boarding, Kayaking and Canoeing which are at no-cost to all our travelers staying with us. If water is a sporting activity for you, there are jet-ski and watercraft local rentals readily available in walking distance to have fun on the water. At lower tide you can picnic anyplace on a revealed sandbank or beach of your selection, while on the water. After your day expedition on the water, you can rinse off using the outside shower.
If you call in advance to rent bicycles, this is another great way to discover the East End. Enjoying the outdoors sightseeing the vineyards, local small shops and farms along the way. Bringing your backpack with you wouldn't be a bad idea so you can take a pit-stop to find some trinkets and other memorabilia. Maybe you want to take some fruit and vegetables back to your cottage to enjoy later from local fresh farm-stands. Maybe you would like some exercise with a view while cycling east on the North Fork or to take a slower pace by simply enjoying the sights you see along the way. Remember to plan ahead, by calling to reserve your bike(s) for your outdoor exploration.
